HOTEL MARTINEZ, IN THE UNBOUND COLLECTION BY HYATT, Cannes – A Smart Stay in the City

The hotel is perfectly situated by the beach on La Croisette street, offering a fabulous location with stunning views. The rooms were tasteful and stylish, providing superb views of the water. The service was exceptional, with friendly staff going above and beyond to address any issues. Dining was a highlight, offering an elaborate and delicious experience. However, room cleanliness could be improved, and the price may not fully match the value received.

The hotel provides a wonderful mix of luxury and simplicity, making for a warm and inviting stay. The delicious breakfast stands out, but some areas show signs of wear and tear, such as the dirty carpet and old upholstery. The service is professional and gracious, with a few minor inconveniences, like limited access to the terrace at night. Dining offers a delightful spread, but value for money could be better in certain instances.

My stay at the hotel was truly delightful. The rooms were spotless and well-appointed, recently renovated by Hyatt, offering a design that was both comfortable and spacious. The marble bathroom was a luxurious touch, and the separate wc stood out as a convenient feature. The service, while generally wonderful and friendly, could have done a bit more to enhance the experience, especially in ensuring a more welcoming atmosphere at the terrace. The location was perfect, with easy access to the beachfront and nearby stores, although I was slightly unhappy about the additional costs at the beach. The dining experience, overall, was average, with some room for improvement in terms of value for money. The facilities, however, were satisfactory, with a standout feature being the private beach club slated for updates this month.

Staying at this hotel was quite average for a 5-star property. The room location was a bit concerning as it overlooked balconies of nearby flats across the street, but the room itself was properly checked before my arrival and had a pleasant blue and white theme.
